AMD is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst in Penang to join Business Analytics, Planning & Reporting (BAPR). You will deliver financial insights, partner with cross-functional teams, and support strategic decision-making with reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in finance reporting, analytics, and business partnering environments.
• Expert/Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience connecting multiple data sources using Excel, Power BI, SQL or other tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead prep and analysis of financial reporting packages and exec-level reporting.
• Perform month-end close, variance analysis vs forecast, accruals/reclassification.
• Drive annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles with analytical support.
• Coordinate recurring close and reporting activities for accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with leadership in project management and action follow-up until closure.
• Identify and improve processes to enhance efficiency, controls, and data quality.
• Lead KPI and metrics tracking and performance measurement.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, audits, regulatory, and governance standards.
• Mentor junior analysts and support team capability development.
