Job summary

Toll Group is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A to drive planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting in Malaysia. You will own month-end close, balance sheet integrity and ad-hoc analyses to influence strategic decisions. Strong Excel skills and CA/CPA progression are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or commerce.
• CA/CPA qualification or progression is preferred.
• Proven experience with GL and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Lead P&L reporting and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and integrity checks.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support tax-sensitive account reviews and audits.

We are proudly part of Japan Post —* **Be a Reporting Powerhouse:** Take ownership of critical month-end and quarter-end processes, from GL entries to insightful financial reports, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.* **Lead Financial Performance Reporting:** Prepare and analyze weekly and month-end P&L reports, presenting key findings and trends to stakeholders for informed decision-making.* **Drive Financial Integrity:** Own balance sheet reconciliations and collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to provide valuable insights and ensure financial health.* **Lead Financial Planning & Analysis Activities:** Oversee and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting — including spending, forecasting, and variance analysis across headcount, Opex, and Capex.* **Contribute to Compliance:** Play a vital role in audit preparations and support the review of tax-sensitive accounts, ensuring adherence to regulations.* **Shape Business Decisions:** Dive into ad-hoc projects and analyses, providing valuable insights that directly influence business strategy.* **Innovate and Improve:** Be a champion for efficiency, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and contribute new ideas.* **Collaborate and Grow:** Work closely with the Finance Business Partner and other stakeholders in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.**What You’ll Need to Succeed:*** A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Commerce. CA/CPA qualification (or if you are well-advanced in obtaining it).* Solid experience managing the General Ledger and a strong foundation in Financial Accounting. Project accounting skills are a plus!* Experience in **financial planning and analysis**, including **budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control will be value add**.* A proactive and hands-on approach to financial and management reporting, with a keen eye for detail.* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with strong Excel skills.* A passion for continuous improvement – bonus points for Green Belt training!At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
