Job summary

Toll Group in Malaysia (Penang/Bayan Lepas) is hiring a Finance professional to strengthen month-end close, forecasting, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting/Finance with 2–4 years in financial accounting, management reporting, or general ledger work and strong Excel skills.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights and ensure statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Management Reporting, or General Ledger functions.
• Strong knowledge of month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting standards, audit processes, and statutory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely month-end reports, variance analysis, and Business Performance Reports.
• Support forecasting and budgeting for assigned corporate functions, including analysis of budget movements and financial trends.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate, resolve, and communicate reconciliation variances promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate wage declarations, workers' compensation reporting, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist with taxation calculations, including Tax Returns and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) reporting.
• Support acquisition and divestment accounting activities, internal and external audits, and statutory compliance.
• Partner with cost centre owners and business leaders to provide financial insights, improve cost performance, and drive continuous process improvements.
