Job summary

A strong track record in MFRS/IFRS and 8+ years in finance, with advanced Excel and ERP skills, are required. This role focuses on statutory reporting, tax compliance, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) required.
• At least 8 years in finance/accounting.
• Minimum 3 years in management or supervision.
• Strong expertise in MFRS, with IFRS knowledge.
• Experience in financial services or regulated sectors preferred.
• Excellent Excel and financial modeling; knowledge of SAP/Xero a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.
• Collaborate with CEO and senior leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
• Convert complex financial data into actionable insights for operations and strategy.
• Manage month-end and year-end closes, statements, and internal controls.
• Ensure on-time submission of management accounts, statutory reports, and tax returns.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, tax obligations, and group policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, tax agents, and Group Finance for reporting.
• Monitor risks and enforce controls to protect assets.
• Drive automation and continuous improvements in financial processes.
