Job summary

EPOS Pte. Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to support finance operations and day-to-day processing, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will prepare journal entries, assist with month-end close, and collaborate with auditors, tax agents, and internal teams. A Diploma or degree in accounting plus 1–2 years’ relevant experience is preferred, with strong Excel and Xero skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Xero experience is an advantage.
• Experience with audit activities, tax coordination, and external reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced Excel skills essential for analysis.
• Eligible to work in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare and post accounting entries per double-entry principles.
• Perform monthly closings and assist with year-end closing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Assist in financial reports and schedules.
• Ensure transactions comply with policies and standards.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and internal teams.
• Prepare management data and dashboards for leadership.
• Support ad-hoc finance, accounting, and strategic tasks.
