Job summary

Exal Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to support daily accounting activities, including AP, AR and GL, and assist in monthly closings and financial reporting. This role offers exposure to accounting schedules, bank reconciliations and interdepartmental collaboration.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position in Sarawak.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–3 years of accounting experience also welcome.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.

Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR and GL.
Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and journal entries.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting and preparation of accounting schedules.
Monitor outstanding payments, collections and supplier accounts.
Support audit, tax, SST and e-Invoicing documentation.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and other stakeholders on accounting matters.
Assist in improving accounting processes and ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Support the Accounts Manager and Finance team on other accounting-related matters.
