Job summary
Honeywell is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support customers across Malaysia and the APAC region. The role requires deep expertise with compressors, pumps and rotating equipment, including installation, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and maintenance.
You will diagnose complex issues, conduct RCFA, interpret API standards and collaborate with sales, engineering and partners to expand service opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in field service engineering.
- Experience with rotating equipment in industrial environments.
- Strong commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Experience supporting compressors and/or pumps in Oil & Gas.
- Familiar with API standards and able to travel 50–75%.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Provide advanced field service at customer sites across Malaysia and APAC.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process issues.
- Conduct RCFA and recommend corrective actions.
- Interpret P&IDs, API standards, OEM manuals and drawings.
- Support shutdowns, turnarounds, emergencies, reliability initiatives.
- Deliver technical reports and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering and partners to grow service opportunities.
- Mentor junior engineers and train technicians.
