Job summary

Pantas Bakti Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a skilled Compressor / Rotating Equipment Engineer to support our growing oil & gas and energy projects.

You will provide engineering and technical support for compressor projects, assist with equipment selection, and coordinate technical matters between customers, OEMs, and internal teams. The role requires strong communication and a minimum of 5 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compressors or rotating equipment.
• Experience with oil & gas, petrochemical, offshore, or energy sectors preferred.
• Knowledge of selection, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for compressor projects.
• Support proposals, equipment selection, and clarifications.
• Coordinate technical matters between customers, OEMs, and internal teams.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning activities.
• Assist in developing local engineering capabilities aligned with PETRONAS and OEM requirements
