Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Sdn Bhd client is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to provide technical and application support across APAC. The role focuses on evaluating and promoting embedded computing, electronics and IoT products with close collaboration with sales, engineering, and global technical teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of relevant experience, a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and strong knowledge of schematics, PCB design, and embedded software development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the complete product development cycle from design to go-to-market.
• Strong understanding of schematics, Gerber files and PCB design.
• Experience in testing and debugging electronic products.
• Knowledge of embedded software development including Python and Zephyr.
• Good understanding of microcontrollers, processors and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of compliance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Strong ownership, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Able to manage projects across international time zones.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Technical Support

Provide technical support and solutions to existing and prospective customers.

Strong understanding of schematics, Gerber files and PCB design.

Experience in testing and debugging electronic products.

Knowledge of embedded software development, including Python and Zephyr.

Good understanding of microcontrollers, processors and emerging technologies.

Knowledge of compliance testing.
