Job summary
Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Field Application Engineer (FAE) to cover KL or Penang. You will serve as the technical bridge between engineering teams and customers, driving design-in and design-win opportunities across Malaysia and Indonesia.
The role requires 7–10 years in FAE or technical sales in electronics, with strong communication across English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 7–10 years in Field Application Engineering or technical Sales within electronics/semiconductor industries.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia; willing to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Perform Field Application Engineering (Technical Support & Design-In) duties.
- Be the primary technical expert for company products in the territory.
- Drive design-in and design-win activities with customers' R&D teams.
- Conduct technical product presentations, architecture reviews and training sessions.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with product teams to resolve customer challenges.
- Develop system-level interconnect proposals for applications like battery management systems and vehicle controllers.
