Job summary

23 Glove (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant Factory Manager to lead day-to-day factory operations, unifying Administrative & Support with Production to meet targets. You will ensure quality, safety, and cost objectives are achieved.

You will oversee production planning, budget management, and cross-department coordination, while enforcing OSH and GMP compliance. A strong background in manufacturing and people leadership is required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in factory/plant management.
• Experience with budget planning and cost control at plant level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall factory operations and coordination between Admin/Support and Production.
• Ensure production plans meet output targets within budget and quality specs.
• Ensure OSH, GMP, and statutory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs (output, downtime, defect rate, cost per unit) and report to Head of Operations.
• Plan and manage annual capital and operating budgets; control variances.
• Approve manpower planning, shift rosters, and resource allocation across departments.
• Handle escalated operational, HR, or compliance issues.
