Job summary

SUPERSIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to oversee daily operations of plant utilities, including HVAC, chilled water, compressors, and power distribution.

You will coordinate with on-site technicians and China HQ engineers to maintain reliability and safety across the site. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing facilities, a relevant engineering degree, and strong English/Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional engineering experience in manufacturing facility operations.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills.
• Ability to read P&ID and single-line diagrams.
• Solid understanding of industrial utilities, HVAC, chill water, and high/low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and reliability of factory utility systems (HVAC, chilled water, CDA, gases, power distribution).
• Act as technical bridge to management and coordinate with on-site technicians and China HQ engineers.
• Lead and optimize preventive maintenance schedules and calibration checklists.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure 24/7 uninterrupted utility supply to production floors.
• Drive continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and carbon footprint.
• Supervise external contractors during equipment positioning and utility connections and audit PTW/JHA.
• Manage chemical dosing and water quality monitoring for cooling towers and process water.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs, EAPs, and engineering drawings.
• Optimize spare parts inventory and requisition pipelines to avoid maintenance delays.
• Conduct routine safety audits and enforce LOTO protocols.
• Fulfill other engineering tasks and site commissioning duties.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Chemical engineering
