Job summary

SUPERSIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Facilities Engineer to manage daily operation and maintenance of plant utility systems. You will lead rapid response for outages, plan parts demand, and supervise on-site construction with safety at the forefront.

You will analyze energy usage, perform RCA on failures, update SOPs, and train technicians to ensure smooth, 24/7 operations on a modern manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome; internship/final year project in manufacturing plants or facility utilities is a plus.
• Understanding of industrial utility systems: chilled water, HVAC, CDA, gas, and power networks.
• Able to read P&ID, one-line diagrams, and basic CAD drawings.
• Proficient in Excel for data logging, trend analysis, and charting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of facility power equipment and utility systems.
• Lead emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production lines.
• Submit monthly demand plans for spare parts, consumables, and wear parts to control costs.
• Supervise on-site outsourced construction and M&E installation with strict safety compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis on sudden failures and implement long-term improvements.
• Analyze water, electricity, and gas consumption; implement energy-saving projects.
• Identify risks, perform on-site safety risk assessments, and drive improvements.
• Standardize and update SOPs and emergency procedures; maintain logs and docs.
• Coordinate technicians' daily plans and provide safety/operational training.
