Job summary

ADVANCED ASSEMBLY MATERIALS (M) SDN. BHD. seeks a Senior Facilities Engineer to lead maintenance and repair of building facilities and equipment.

You will implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns and minimize production impact, while ensuring compliance with ENV and relevant acts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with about 5 years of related experience, and demonstrates strong cross‑functional collaboration and

• Experience in ISO 9000 / 14000.
• Possess good and effective communication skill with all levels with the organization, suppliers and customers.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues with other departments group effectively.
• Able to work long hours and under high-pressure in fast paced environment.
• Able to implement and carry-out improvement opportunities to increase productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and implementation of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance schedule system to reduce unexpected Equipment Breakdowns and minimum impact to production.
• Provide Technical & Engineering support in managing the building facilities and equipment system control with performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance control system, ensuring all aspect compliance to ENV, JKKP/ Factories And Machinery Act, Electricity Supply Act, Fire Services Act and other Regulations.
• Maintain good condition of building infrastructure such as HVAC, Air compressor system, Cooling tower system, Fire protection system, Ventilation of building, Fume scrubber system, Electricity power supply, City water pumping system.
• Keep Maintenance of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 document control system.
• Supervise maintenance activities and coordinate with internal departments to ensure minimal operational disruption.

About you

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 5 years' working experience or equivalent qualification

Experience in a maintenance capacity in manufacturing industry

Experience in ISO 9000 /14000

Possess good and effective communication skill with all levels with the organization, suppliers and customers

Ability to identify and resolve issues with other departments group effectively
