Job summary

FIT PIONEER RESOURCES SDN. BHD. is seeking a senior façade engineer to lead the detailed design development of curtain wall and façade systems for commercial and institutional projects.

You will prepare and review shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings, and identify design issues to optimise outcomes. Responsibilities include material take-offs, procurement scheduling, and coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure quality and timely

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of dedicated experience in façade or curtain wall design.
• Involved in the complete lifecycle of at least two curtain wall projects valued above RM10 million.

Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design development of curtain wall and façade systems for commercial, institutional, and landmark projects.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Identify design issues and propose practical engineering solutions to optimise project outcomes.
• Prepare material take-offs and procurement schedules for curtain wall framing systems, steel structures, and façade panels.
• Develop technical proposals, construction methodologies, and design modification documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and design support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend technical coordination meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Work closely with project and site teams to ensure design quality, project compliance, and timely delivery.
• Support site teams in resolving technical and installation-related challenges.
• Carry out other duties assigned by management.

Job description

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of dedicated experience in façade or curtain wall design.

Involved in the complete lifecycle of at least two curtain wall projects valued above RM10 million.

Experience with complex geometrical or irregular-shaped façade systems is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Rhino and other 3D modelling software.

Strong knowledge of curtain wall detailing, fabrication drawings, and engineering coordination.

Familiarity with façade engineering calculations and analysis software is highly preferred.

Solid understanding of international façade standards, engineering practices, and construction methodologies.
