Job summary

Manulife Malaysia’s XPSSC seeks an experienced actuary to lead end-to-end mortality and morbidity studies while modernizing analytics across Asia, including ADM data modernization, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights.

You will collaborate with BU Chief Actuaries, IT, and governance teams to ensure robust data pipelines and scalable workflows, coaching junior staff and delivering actionable recommendations for pricing, valuation, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Fellow or near‑Fellow (FSA or Equivalent) with 5–7 years of actuarial experience.
• Strong capabilities in experience study methodologies, GLMs, and trend analysis.
• Proven leadership, communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mortality and morbidity experience studies across Asia, including scoping, validation, analysis, and audit readiness.
• Drive modernization of analytics, supporting ADM data modernization and future study workflows.
• Oversee ongoing monitoring using PBI dashboards to explain trends and impacts to senior stakeholders.
• Translate results into business insights and actionable recommendations for pricing and valuation.
• Coach junior actuarial staff and provide technical guidance.
