Epsom College Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive for PR & Content Development to enhance brand awareness, reputation and enrolment through compelling storytelling. You will collaborate with the Marketing Communications Manager and cross‑team leads to develop content across digital and traditional channels.
You will handle PR, social media, CRM and lead management using HubSpot, ensuring consistent messaging across academic, boarding, sports and student experiences.
The Senior Executive, PR & Content Development supports the College’s brand awareness, reputation and enrolment objectives through effective storytelling, media engagement and high-quality content development.
Working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager, Marketing Team and Market Leads, the role is responsible for developing and executing content across digital and traditional channels, supporting PR initiatives, managing marketing-generated leads through HubSpot and ensuring that the College’s academic, boarding, sporting, university destinations and wider student experiences are communicated consistently and compellingly.
The role requires a strong hands‑on content and communications professional who can move confidently between writing, PR, social media, CRM, photography, video, events and campaign execution in a fast‑paced school environment.

PR & Media Relations
Draft press releases, media pitches, articles, interviews, thought‑leadership pieces and other PR materials.
Build and maintain relationships with relevant media, publications, agencies and external partners.
Identify stories, achievements and developments across the College that have strong PR and media potential.
Support media visits, interviews and other publicity opportunities as required.
Maintain accurate records of media activity, coverage and relevant contacts.
Content Development
Develop engaging written and visual content for the College website, social media, digital advertising, newsletters, brochures and other marketing platforms.
Translate academic, boarding, sporting, university destinations and student‑life stories into compelling, audience‑focused content.
Maintain a strong and consistent institutional tone of voice across all communications.
Edit, proofread and adapt content for different audiences, markets and communication channels.
Work with Market Leads to adapt content where appropriate for specific market audiences.
Maintain an organised content library of photography, video, testimonials, student stories and other marketing assets.
Ensure content is accurate, timely, appropriately presented and aligned with the College’s brand standards.
CRM, HubSpot and Lead Management
Create and manage EDM campaigns, marketing emails, forms, landing pages and automated workflows through HubSpot.
Ensure leads generated through digital campaigns, school events, education fairs, landing pages and other marketing activities are captured accurately within the CRM.
Organise and monitor marketing-generated leads and ensure timely follow‑up with the relevant Admissions or programme teams.
Track lead sources and movement through the enquiry journey to support measurement of campaign effectiveness and student recruitment activity.
Maintain accurate databases, campaign lists, segmentation and CRM records.
Work with Admissions, Market Leads and relevant departments to improve lead management processes and ensure marketing-generated enquiries are appropriately followed through.
Monitor lead engagement and identify gaps or opportunities within the enquiry journey.
Produce regular reports on lead generation, campaign performance, engagement and conversion for the Marketing Communications Manager.
Social Media & Digital Content
Support the day‑to‑day management of the College’s social media channels and digital content calendar.
Create and publish timely, engaging and platform‑appropriate content.
Monitor digital channels and support responses to comments, messages and enquiries where appropriate.
Track content performance and use engagement data to improve future content.
Identify emerging social media formats, trends and content opportunities relevant to the College.
Coordinate social media activity with wider campaigns and market priorities.
Campaign Execution
Support the Marketing Communications Manager and Assistant Manager, Marketing in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across Malaysia, ASEAN and North Asian markets.
Work with Market Leads to support the execution of market‑specific campaigns and initiatives.
Contribute new campaign, content and storytelling ideas on a regular basis.
Adapt campaign content for different audiences, markets and channels.
Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, photographers, videographers and other suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on schedule.
Maintain campaign content, timelines and deliverables for assigned projects.
Photography, Video & Event Content
Support key College events, tournaments, performances, exhibitions, ceremonies and community activities to capture content.
Produce or coordinate photography, short‑form video, interviews and other digital assets.
Develop timely post‑event content that highlights student experiences, achievements and the wider life of the College.
Work with relevant departments to identify opportunities for authentic student and community storytelling.
Ensure appropriate safeguarding, consent and brand requirements are observed in the creation and use of student content.
Website & Platform Management
Support the ongoing management and updating of website content.
Ensure key information across digital channels remains accurate, current and consistent.
Coordinate with relevant colleagues and external providers on website updates, campaign landing pages and digital content requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of landing pages and other digital campaign assets.
Monitor basic website and campaign performance and highlight relevant insights or issues to the Marketing Communications Manager.
Project & Budget Support
Manage assigned content, PR and communications projects from briefing through to delivery.
Maintain project timelines and coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare or support the preparation of creative briefs, quotations, purchase requests and other project documentation.
Support marketing budget tracking and expense management for assigned projects.
Monitor expenditure relating to assigned projects and suppliers to support cost‑effective delivery.
Maintain organised records of project activity, deliverables and supplier information.
General
Work collaboratively with academic, boarding, sports, Admissions, Market Leads and operational teams to identify and develop strong stories about the College.
Support the Marketing Team in delivering major campaigns, events and institutional priorities.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, presentation and brand consistency across all communications.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when working with students, parents, staff and external stakeholders.
Ensure appropriate safeguarding, consent and brand requirements are observed in all content and communications activity.
Stay informed of relevant developments in PR, digital marketing, social media, content creation and international education.
Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by College leadership in support of the College’s operational and strategic objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media, English or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, content development, social media, digital marketing or marketing.
Previous agency experience is highly desirable.
Experience within international education, premium consumer brands, hospitality, luxury, lifestyle or similarly high-service sectors would be advantageous.
Demonstrable experience producing high-quality written and digital content across multiple platforms.
Experience managing social media, PR campaigns, digital campaigns or marketing communications projects.
Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot, would be highly desirable.
Demonstrable experience coordinating photography, video production and event content is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong copywriting, editing and proofreading ability.
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to identify compelling stories from day‑to‑day College activities.
Good understanding of social media platforms, digital content formats and audience engagement.
Practical understanding of CRM, email marketing, marketing automation and lead management.
Ability to produce or coordinate photography and video content.
Strong organisational and project‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
High attention to detail and strong visual judgement.
Working knowledge of HubSpot, content management systems, social media management tools and common design or editing platforms would be advantageous.
Ability to work effectively with Market Leads and adapt content and communications for different markets and audiences.
Additional language capability, particularly Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean, would be highly regarded.
Proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership of assigned projects.
Creative, curious and able to generate new content ideas rather than simply execute instructions.
Commercially aware and interested in how content and communications contribute to brand awareness, engagement and enrolment.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
