The Assistant Manager, Admissions & Enrolment reports to the Chief Admissions Officer and is responsible for driving enrolment growth through camps, sports academies and related short-term programmes, while supporting the wider school admissions pipeline. The primary focus of this role is to convert camp and sports academy families into full school admissions prospects, applicants and enrolled students. This includes owning the camp/sports enrolment pipeline, identifying high-potential families, managing structured follow-up, and positioning short-term programmes as a clear pathway into Epsom College Malaysia’s full boarding and day school programmes. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role requiring strong parent communication, disciplined follow-up, CRM accuracy and close coordination across Admissions, Market Leaders, Marketing, Camps, Sports Academies, Finance, Student Services and school operations. It is a conversion-focused role measured by camp/sports enrolment, camp/sports-to-school conversion and contribution to overall school enrolment.

Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment Pipeline and Enrolment Conversion
  • Manage the student recruitment pipeline across markets, channels and programmes.
  • Drive prospects from enquiry to application, assessment, offer, acceptance and enrolment.
  • Ensure every enquiry is followed up quickly, properly and consistently by the relevant Market Leader or Admissions team member.
  • Monitor lead quality, response speed, follow-up frequency, conversion progress and next-step completion.
  • Identify stalled leads, weak follow-up, ownership gaps and conversion risks, and take action to resolve them quickly.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including enquiry details, parent communication history, pipeline status, next steps and follow-up deadlines.
  • Prepare regular pipeline reports, conversion updates and recommended actions to improve enrolment outcomes.
  • Support the Chief Admissions Officer in tracking performance against recruitment and enrolment targets.

Camp Enrolment and Camp-to-School Conversion
  • Manage the conversion pipeline for camps, sports academies and related short-term programmes.
  • Track enquiries, registrations, confirmations, payment follow-up, attendance and post-programme conversion progress.
  • Convert camp and sports academy enquiries into confirmed participants.
  • Identify high-potential camp and sports academy families for school admissions conversion.
  • Ensure structured follow-up after camps, academies, webinars and recruitment activities to convert families into school applicants and enrolled students.
  • Coordinate with Market Leaders, Marketing, Admissions, Camps and Sports Academies teams to capture, nurture and progress leads.
  • Own improvements to camp sales, sports academy enrolment, parent experience, repeat participation and transition into school admissions.
  • Lead direct engagement with prospective parents and students to understand their needs and guide them through the sports and camp offerings and school admissions process.
  • Present the school’s academic pathway, boarding experience, pastoral care, co-curricular life, sports academies and wider value proposition clearly and persuasively.
  • Lead parent consultations, school tours, admissions meetings, event follow-ups and offer-stage conversion discussions where required.
  • Follow up firmly and professionally with families to move them towards application, assessment, offer acceptance and enrolment.
  • Ensure families receive accurate, timely and joined-up information from Admissions, Academic, Boarding, Pastoral, Registrar, Student Services, Finance and Operations teams.
  • Lead the conversion of high-potential prospects by removing barriers, answering questions and coordinating next steps quickly.
Market Leader Coordination and Lead Ownership
  • Lead coordination with Market Leaders to ensure clear lead ownership, follow-up priorities and conversion actions.
  • Work with Market Leaders to progress high-potential school, camp and sports academy prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Track lead aging, response timing, follow-up completion and conversion progress across each assigned market.
  • Ensure campaign, referral, admissions event, camp and sports academy leads are assigned, contacted, nurtured and progressed.
  • Escalate weak follow-up, delayed response or missed conversion opportunities where required.
  • Work with Marketing and Admissions teams to align lead follow-up with campaign activity, recruitment priorities and enrolment targets.
  • Lead improvements to sales processes, CRM discipline, follow-up templates and parent communication workflows.
Admissions Events and Recruitment Activities
  • Lead and coordinate admissions-related events, including school tours, open days, seminars, education fairs, webinars and recruitment events.
  • Ensure all events are linked to clear recruitment, lead generation and conversion objectives.
  • Manage event-related enquiries, registrations, confirmations, parent communications, attendance tracking and post-event follow-up.
  • Track event conversion performance and recommend actions to improve future recruitment outcomes.
  • Own follow-up from recruitment events where they support school enrolment, camp enrolment or sports academy conversion.
  • Coordinate Entrance Test sessions, assessment follow-up, offer follow-up and enrolment preparation.
Person Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3-6 years’ relevant experience in admissions, student recruitment, sales, business development, customer success, hospitality, premium service, or another client-facing commercial role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Confident in engaging parents, students, agents, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with close attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing enquiries, deadlines, records and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and digital communication platforms.
  • Able to work independently while coordinating effectively across teams.
  • Willing to support occasional evening, weekend or event-based activity when required.
