Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive, Leasing to drive leasing activities for commercial, retail and mixed development properties, with a focus on meeting targets.

You will lead junior executives, negotiate terms with tenants and agents, prepare offers, and maintain strong relationships with corporate tenants while supporting planning and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related discipline.
• 2–4 years leasing experience.
• Good understanding of tenancy agreements and leasing documentation.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

Senior Executive, Leasing ( Basic cum Incentive )

• Marketing, leasing, and Selling of both commercial, residential, and retail properties owned or developed by the Group.
• Assist in the planning and ultimate execution of strategic initiatives aimed at sustaining development and continuous growth of the Property Leasing arm of the Group.
• Leading junior executives (Leasing) in the various marketing or promotional campaign(s) rolled out by the Company towards attaining the desired results.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with corporate tenants and property agents.
• Review, prepare and update marketing material for respective properties.
• Sourcing of prospective corporate tenants.
• Constant engagement with the Building Management team to ensure properties are always maintained in good tenable condition.
• Conduct site inspections with prospective tenants and/or property agents when required.
• Collate relevant technical information for prospective tenants.
• Negotiate leasing terms with prospective tenants and property agents.
• Issuance of Letter of Offer to prospective tenants and follow up to conclude the tenancy.
• Provide continuous after-sales services and support to corporate tenants.
• Assess competitiveness of respective properties via market studies and benchmarking.
• Perform other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Property Management, Estate Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of leasing experience, preferably in commercial, retail or mixed development properties.
• Good understanding of tenancy agreements and leasing documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve leasing targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for property viewings and site visits.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in leasing office buildings, retail malls, mixed developments or commercial properties.
• Existing network of corporate tenants, retailers or property agents will be an added advantage.
