Job summary

Tentacle Tech, an IT and software development consulting company, seeks a Senior Executive to own regional IT Security matters in the finance sector. You will advise on cyber security controls, tooling, and compliance across multiple regional entities to uphold and improve security standards.

You will drive security controls, manage security tooling, and ensure remediation activities in line with the IT Roadmap while acting as the main point of contact for policy enforcement and updates across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong background in Security Operations Center, Threat Intelligence, and Security Projects.
• Excellent ability to communicate information security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of information technology, information security, and cybersecurity tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory support on IT Security related issues and initiatives
• Proactively manage and get involved in IT Security matters across regional entities
• Consult on IT security matters relating to projects, including follow-up on improvement plans
• Drive cyber security controls in line with the established IT Roadmap
• Ensure target operating models for IT security support are diligently followed and complied with
• Act as the point of contact for security tool updates, policy enforcement (e.g. DLP, secure web gateway, intrusion prevention), and remediation activities
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to keep asset and security license information updated

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive to take ownership of regional IT Security matters within the finance sector. In this role, you will be a key advisor and point of contact for cyber security controls, security tooling, and compliance across multiple regional entities, ensuring security standards are consistently upheld and continuously improved.

What You'll Do
