Job summary

Tentacle Tech is seeking an experienced Business Architect to strengthen the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise container platforms within the financial services sector.

You will lead cross-functional teams across DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application Development in a fast-paced, mission-critical production environment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, and container orchestration technologies.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, Helm, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using Python, Bash, Java, or equivalent scripting languages.
• Experience with platform security, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and strategic planning capabilities in enterprise environments.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to strengthen the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise container platforms within the financial services sector. In this role, you will play a critical part in modernizing infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and providing technical leadership across DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application Development teams in a fast-paced, mission-critical production environment.

What You'll Do

• Ensure high availability, stability, and resilience of enterprise container platforms
• Improve software delivery speed and deployment reliability through automation and CI/CD optimization
• Strengthen platform security through proactive vulnerability management and compliance enforcement

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, Helm, and Ansible
