Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced ICT Senior Executive to join our dynamic team at AISM. This position plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the school's network and server systems. Reporting directly to the Head of ICT, the ICT Senior Executive will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
Manage and support the school’s network and server infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows Server & virtualization, Linux servers, network infrastructure (switches, wireless systems, firewalls, bandwidth management), SAN storage, backup system and endpoint management, Active Directory services, server rooms and school applications.
Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and server-related issues.
Support and participate in ICT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain system documentation and provide reports when required.
Provide technical support to administrative staff, academic staff, and students.
Apply basic knowledge of SQL and PHP to support database-driven applications (advantage).
Provide after-hours or weekend support when required to ensure system availability.
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network and server infrastructure management.
knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, Linux servers, networking, firewalls, and wireless systems.
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and Google Workspace.
Basic knowledge of SQL and PHP is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in an educational institution or similar environment is an advantage.
Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support when required.
