Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Selangor invites an experienced Senior Executive, Group Accounting - Consolidation to join our Accounting team. You will oversee group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and internal controls to support accurate and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting with professional qualifications and 3–5 years in manufacturing or audit, with strong IFRS/MFRS/GAAP knowledge and experience with SAP/ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting with professional qualifications or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or auditing.
• Experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficient in MFRS, IFRS and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Handle all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and internal controls.
• Prepare monthly reports, financial statements and cash flow projections.
• Manage group consolidation processes and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with government authorities, auditors and tax agents.
• Liaise with company secretary and regulators as required.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.

Senior Executive, Group Accounting - Consolidation

We're looking for an experienced Accounting professional to join our Accounting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for accounting, group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial management, compliance, and timely reporting while supporting business growth within a leading manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspect of accounts/financial related activities including accounting, financial reports and analysis, auditing, taxation and budgeting for the Company.
• Responsible for all fiscal reporting activities to all the government authorities and agencies.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports, financial statements and cash flows forecast and projections for Management
• To prepare and present the project papers for evaluation to banks, investors, regulatory bodies and others.
• Prepare schedule and analysis for management, auditors and Tax requirements
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Monitoring and control in decentralized finance functions of the business units in various locations.
• Work closely and maintain strong relationship with all levels of organization to identify their needs and seek business solutions.
• Liaise with Government departments, Inland Revenue Board, Customs, MIDA and other statutory bodies for compliance and approvals.
• Liaise with Auditors, Company secretary and Tax agents

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Professional qualifications or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience, preferably in manufacturing sector and or audit.
• Experience in financial management and knowledge in SAP / ERP system is an advantageous.
• Experience in Group Consolidation.
• Familiar with the requirements and guidelines of Bursa Malaysia and other relevant authorities.
• Must be proficiency in accounting standards, MFRS, IFRS and GAAP.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills with ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Possess high level of integrity, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
