Job summary

AWG Consultancy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Executive - Financial Lines to manage end-to-end Financial Lines products, including Cyber Insurance, D&O liability, and Professional Indemnity, with related distribution activities.

The role focuses on guiding junior staff, assessing risk and policy wordings, and executing complex placements while negotiating terms with clients and insurers. The position also involves developing cross-sell opportunities and handling renewals and billing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in General Insurance
• ACII / AMII or equivalent professional qualifications in General Insurance
• Practical experience in insurance distribution activities for a period of 3-5 years
• Smart, well organized and computer literate
• Strong interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a team player capable of working within an enthusiastic and motivated team

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of Financial Lines products, including Cyber Insurance, Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability, Professional Indemnity (PI), etc.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and assist in refining team workflows.
• Analyze risk profiles, evaluate policy wordings, and execute complex placements or underwriting decisions in line with market risk appetites.
• Act as a primary point of contact for key clients and insurers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and structures effectively.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to market intelligence to expand the Financial Lines footprint.
• Assist in managing existing portfolio and follow up on new leads to secure new business.
• Carry out presentations to clients.
• Monitor credit control of own portfolio.
• Follow up with existing clients for policy renewals, support and administer individual and corporate accounts and filing of the insurance paperwork.
• Handle general administrative and operational duties such as billing.

About you
