Job summary

Vsconsultancy in Malaysia is seeking an Executive Finance to join our Bukit Indah Johor office on a full-time basis. The role oversees bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll support to drive accurate records and informed decision-making.

You will liaise with auditors and tax advisors, ensuring compliance with Malaysian standards and regulations, and contribute to cost efficiency and process improvements in a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or small practice accounting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports in a timely and organised manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Maintain financial documentation and ensure proper filing systems are in place.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required.
• Provide financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Finance professional to join Vsconsultancy on a full-time basis at our Bukit Indah Johor office. What we're looking for

• Experience with VAT/GST compliance and tax submissions is advantageous
