Job summary

EVE ENERGY MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing automation, equipment reliability, and control systems development. You will troubleshoot electrical faults, optimize PLC programs, and contribute to continuous improvement in a battery manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, servo drives, and HMI development, with fresh graduates encouraged if they show strong fundamentals in electrical systems and automation.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years in electrical engineering, automation, or equipment engineering.
• Fresh graduates with strong electrical/automation knowledge welcome.
• Experience in manufacturing automation or lithium-ion battery industry is an advantage.

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs for automation equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Job description

1. Electrical Equipment Support & Troubleshooting

Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and maintenance for manufacturing equipment.

Support equipment installation, commissioning, and improvement activities.

Analyze equipment electrical failures and provide effective solutions to improve equipment reliability.

Conduct troubleshooting for electrical control systems, sensors, servo systems, motors, and other electrical components.

2. Electrical Control System & Automation

Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs for automation equipment.

Perform HMI interface development and improvement according to production requirements.

Design and modify electrical control circuits and prepare electrical schematics.

Support automation control process development and equipment optimization.

3. Equipment Improvement & Maintenance

Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities for electrical systems and automation equipment.

Participate in equipment improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and stability.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Support continuous improvement activities related to automation and electrical systems.

Requirements

Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, or equipment engineering.

Fresh graduates with strong knowledge in electrical systems and automation are welcome to apply.

Experience in manufacturing automation equipment or lithium-ion battery industry is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of electrical fundamentals, control systems, and industrial automation.

Familiar with PLC programming, HMI development, and electrical troubleshooting.

Experience with electrical components such as sensors, servo motors, drives, inverters, and switching power supplies.

Able to troubleshoot equipment issues, optimize PLC programs, and perform electrical system improvements.

Experience with vision systems is an added advantage.
