PROTON is seeking a Business Operations Executive to coordinate, review and finalise contracts with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced automotive environment. You will support AHTV projects with Geely and manage commercial arrangements for Proton and Geely-branded products produced in Malaysia or China.
You will work with legal, finance and purchasing teams to ensure all agreements are compliant, and you will keep thorough records of negotiations and SLA-bound activities.
The role is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contracts with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all agreements are completed accurately and within the required SLA.
A key focus of the role is supporting AHTV projects, which involve close collaboration between Proton and Geely. The role will coordinate contracts and commercial arrangements for Proton and Geely-branded products that may be produced in Malaysia or China, depending on factors such as tariff advantages, production location, and export requirements.
Work closely with other departments within the organization, such as legal, project management, purchasing, supply chain management, finance etc, to ensure the negotiations are aligned with the overall strategy and goals of the company.
Facilitating communication and collaboration between the parties involved in the contract negotiation.
Ensuring with legal and finance teams that all aspects of the contract are legally binding and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of all contract negotiations and related activities.
To finalise and close on contracts and service request raised within the SLA
Coordinate on any issues raised between Proton and Geely.
Pricing monitoring
Continuously monitoring pricing performance to assess the effectiveness of pricing quoted by tracking Monthly Sales Confirmation, Freight Cost and monitoring the price movement.
Maintain the itemized part price listing to ensure the pricing is up to date.
Submit change in price to Procurement Council for approval
Support on annual cost reduction activities.
Prepare regular reporting to superior
Bachelor’s Degree Specialised in: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, statistic, finance and accounting or similar discipline
Total Work Experience: 2 to 3 years Total Relevant Experience: 2 to 3 years in Handling contracts and pricing, Financial planning and analysis
Experience of working in partnership with a range of stakeholders including managers, employees and external partners
Relevant experience in automotive industry, FP & A and/or contract negotiation and management.
Effective communication skill is required. Candidate is required to communicate clearly and openly with one another and be willing to listen and take feedback constructively.
