Job summary

Based in the Kuala Lumpur office, the Senior Executive will manage client accounting portfolios, delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance support in accordance with IFRS, MFRS and firm procedures. You will prepare full sets of accounts and monthly financial reports, review budgets/forecasts, and provide insights to support business decisions.

The role also includes coaching junior staff and safeguarding quality controls.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting degree with professional qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MICPA)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Strong English communication and report writing skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts and statutory financial statements per IFRS/MFRS
• Manage client relationships and provide timely support
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and insights
• Oversee XBRL tagging of financial statements per MBRS 2.0
• Ensure deliverables meet timelines and client expectations
• Coach and supervise junior team members
