Job summary

Mah Sing Group Berhad is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee contract administration across property development projects in Kulai, Johor. You will manage tender processes, evaluate variation orders, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

The role requires a degree or diploma in related fields and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with willingness to work on site in Kulai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, engineering, property development, or a related industry
• Willing to work in Kulai, Johor

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, activities, and procedures within the property development system
• Involve in tendering: calling, checking documents, closing, evaluation, and award recommendations
• Scrutinize rates and monitor contract documentation; evaluate variation orders for approval
• Process consultants' and contractors' claims pertaining to project matters
• Prepare monthly financial statements and final accounts for management endorsement
• Attend project and site meetings as necessary; pre-qualify contractors and consultants

Job description

This role involves implementing policies, activities, and procedures within the property development system, with responsibilities spanning contract administration, financial management, and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all policies, activities, and procedures as relevant and required by the property development system
• Involve in calling, checking tender documents, closing and evaluation of tenders, including attending tender interviews and making recommendations for award
• Scrutinize rationalization of rates and monitor contract documentation
• Control and evaluate variation orders and make recommendations for approval
• Process consultants' and contractors' claims and any claims pertaining to project matters
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Prepare final accounts and recommendations for management endorsement
• Attend all project meetings and site meetings as necessary
• Pre-qualify contractors and consultants

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, engineering, property development, or a related industry
• Willing to work in Kulai, Johor
