Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking a dedicated professional to support the sustainability governance and implementation of Allianz Malaysia's ESG strategy in the Malaysia context. You will help govern and align local requirements with global directives, develop the Sustainability Framework and drive integration across the organisation.

You will monitor performance, engage stakeholders, and prepare management reporting to ensure targets are achieved.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Business Administration, Sustainability or equivalent.
• Preferable candidate with minimum 3 years working experience for similar function.
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently, resourceful and multitask.
• Agile to work in fast paced environment.
• Growth mindset with strategic & business acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Good project management skills and team work
• Excellent computer knowledge including AI Tools eg. ChatGPT, Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Insurance industry or financial industry exposure is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support governance and internal control for local regulatory alignment with Allianz directives.
• Develop and implement the local Sustainability Framework, Policies, Guidelines and SOPs.
• Operationalise sustainability framework enabling low carbon business model transition and ESG screening.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and group requirements and close gaps.
• Support to achieve sustainability strategies and targets across the organization.
• Govern, align, facilitate and monitor sustainability integration across functions.
• Prepare reporting to Management and Board on progress and achievements.
• Act as governance point to monitor initiatives with defined scope, deliverables, targets and timeline.
• Monitor sustainability performance and highlight irregularities to management.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate actions with project owners to reach targets.
• Support Sustainability Committee, ESG Taskforce with TOR establishment and meeting closures.
• Coordinate regional sustainability matters, privacy and business continuity duties as assigned.
