Job summary

Knowles Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks an experienced Senior Technician to lead maintenance of production equipment and facilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and minimal downtime.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read and design machine control circuits, supervise junior technicians, and coordinate installation and relocation of equipment, HVAC and utility systems to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in equipment maintenance and facilities operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, and utilities.
• Able to work independently and lead maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Read, understand, and develop machine control circuit diagrams.
• Design and install machine control circuits for equipment improvement and automation.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and restore equipment to operation promptly.
• Support installation, setup, modification, and relocation of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records and update PM checklists.
• Ensure adequate spare parts availability.
• Operate and maintain facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, electrical, water, and building facilities.
