Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to be based in Prai, Penang. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and upgrading process equipment to support manufacturing operations.

You will work with process technicians and engineers to ensure precision and reliability across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computerized systems. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of relevant experience and is willing to travel to other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or computerized systems.
• Ability to organize teams and ensure 24-hour coverage.
• Willingness to travel to other Flex sites or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Identify machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair failure mechanisms cost-effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Conduct calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment.
