Flex is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer in Prai, Penang to support our manufacturing teams building high-quality products. The role covers troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of process equipment to ensure precise operation and reliability.

You will work with process technicians and engineers, document actions in equipment logs, and may travel to other Flex sites or vendors. A bachelor's degree and about five years of equivalent experience are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in a related field with 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and calibration of instruments.
• Ability to install and remove process equipment.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and travel to other sites.

Responsabilidades

• Identify machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair failures cost-effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate equipment and re-qualify instruments.
• Assist engineers with installation and removal of equipment.
• Record and report equipment status and actions.
• Coordinate 24-hour coverage if required.
