Job summary

Flex is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer based in Prai, Penang to support the manufacturing teams building and testing high-quality products. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical maintenance, calibrations, and preventive care to keep production lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and approximately five years of related maintenance experience, and be willing to travel to other Flex sites or vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an associate degree in related field.
• Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs machinery (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or computerized systems).
• Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals.
• Assists engineers with installation and removal of process equipment.
• Maintains equipment logs and documents activity.
• Coordinates with production managers to ensure 24-hour coverage.
