Job summary

Flex is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer based in Senai, Johor to support production teams in maintaining precision equipment and ensuring process uptime.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, repair and perform preventive maintenance on complex machinery, collaborate with process technicians, and may travel to other Flex sites or vendors as needed. A related engineering degree and at least 5 years of experience are required, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration and repair of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify machine malfunctions and isolate failure causes.
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate and re-qualify equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Assist engineers with installation, removal and testing of process equipment.
• Travel to other Flex sites or vendors as required.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs and records.
