Job summary

ams OSRAM Kulim is seeking a senior maintenance engineer to ensure equipment uptime across semiconductor processes. You will define maintenance procedures, perform preventive maintenance, and set up SAP PM and work instructions to support process stability and yield.

You'll lead cross-functional teams, transfer new equipment, and drive continuous improvement with global peers. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred, with the ability to collaborate across cultures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor fab support with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to lead meetings and guide technicians across locations.
• Willingness to participate in global transfer projects and adapt to cultures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment uptime and define maintenance procedures for critical tooling.
• Set up SAP PM and TWIs to support process stability and yield KPIs.
• Lead preventive maintenance and life-span studies for equipment.
• Collaborate with process engineers to address chronic equipment issues and improve CpK.
