Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Malaysia seeks an analytical technician to support MOCVD epitaxy metrology. You will sustain metrology equipment uptime, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure measurement quality, including tool-to-tool matching and stability.

The role involves analyzing epitaxy film characterization, maintaining uptime, driving continuous improvement, transferring new equipment with process engineers, and ensuring EHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with semiconductor metrology preferred.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze epitaxy film characterization and surface analysis using semiconductor metrology.
• Sustain equipment uptime, troubleshoot, perform PM, ensure measurement quality and tool stability.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance, uptime, accuracy and risk mitigation; manage spare parts readiness.
• Transfer and startup of new equipment, set-up procedures, hook-up, buy-off and qualification with process engineers.
• Ensure processes and equipment comply with EHS policy.
• Lead technicians in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance; establish PM standards.
• Set up SAP PM and create maintenance work instructions.
• Achieve equipment KPIs and support process engineering and operations to improve CpK and yield.
• Collaborate with process engineers on chronic equipment issues and continuous improvement.
