Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise networking, data centre infrastructure and security across multiple sites and cloud environments in Kuala Lumpur.

The role focuses on ensuring high availability, network performance and security, with automation using Python, Ansible and Terraform, and collaboration with vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto and Arista on a 12-month contract extended yearly.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• Hands-on with BGP/OSPF, SD‑WAN and firewall administration.
• Experience monitoring, telemetry and performance management.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, Terraform for automation.
• Ability to manage L2/L3 escalations and incidents.
• Willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain multi-site enterprise networks.
• Manage network security including firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA.
• Monitor performance, SLAs, and conduct RCA after incidents.
• Develop automation scripts and use NETCONF/RESTCONF.
• Coordinate with ISPs and hardware vendors.
