Job summary

Our client is an established engineering and technology solutions provider specialising in data centre infrastructure, industrial automation, electrical systems and metal fabrication. They are seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to support manufacturing operations, ensure product quality and coordinate closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes QA/QC inspections, corrective actions, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the sheet metal industry is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret basic mechanical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and quality procedure.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with the QC team and manufacturing operations to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Ensure inspection activities are scheduled and completed on time.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure products meet specified quality standards.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure issues are properly addressed and do not recur.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding product quality issues and follow-up actions.
• Identify quality issues and work with relevant departments to implement effective corrective actions.
• Maintain proper quality records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities
