Job summary

Air Liquide Malaysia seeks an Energy Management Specialist to manage energy index balances, validate invoices, track hedging, and compute energy costs for East Asia Pacific operations.

Reporting to the Energy Management Director in Kuala Lumpur, you will partner with Front Office and Finance to drive data analytics, digital tool implementation, and emissions governance in support of the Energy Transition goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Business or related technical analytical field.
• 5+ years of energy market or operational experience in exchange/long-term energy sourcing context.
• Demonstrated determination to tackle challenges and optimize complex sourcing schemes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to design visualization tools for insights.
• Experience leading digital projects from concept to delivery.
• Willingness to learn from the evolving Energy Transition landscape.
• Ability to manage and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage energy index balances and conduct invoice checks.
• Track hedging transactions and compute energy costs for monthly reporting.
• Monitor energy risk, performance, and identify mitigation strategies.
• Oversee emissions reporting and governance to support sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, and End-to-End Optimization teams.
