Job summary

Air Liquide seeks an Energy Management Specialist to manage energy risk, optimize performance, and govern high-value energy sourcing across East Asia Pacific. You will report to the Energy Management Director and partner with Front Office, local Finance, and the End-to-End Optimization Team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will bridge data analytics, financial control, and digital tool implementation, supporting sustainable, customer-centric energy strategies within ALBS in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Business or related technical analytical field.
• 5+ years experience in energy market or LI business operational experience.
• Demonstration of determination and perseverance to challenges.
• Analytical skillsets and ability to design visualization tools to derive insights from complex data.
• Project leadership to lead digital projects from idea generation to realization.
• Adaptability to manage and communicate with different and transverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor energy risk and performance through standardized end-to-end index balances and energy contribution analysis.
• Execute core administrative tasks including invoice checks, index administration, and P&L impact tracking of hedging transactions.
• Compute accurate energy costs and partner with local Finance for monthly reporting and forecasting.
• Serve as a data enabler for the End-to-End Optimization Team using analytics to capture value from changes.
• Drive consolidation and adoption of digital tools and emissions reporting to support Energy Transition initiatives.
