Job summary

Air Liquide in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Energy Management Specialist to lead energy risk monitoring, analytics, and governance for high-value energy sourcing across East Asia Pacific. You will collaborate with Front Office, local Finance, and End-to-End Optimization teams to bridge data analytics with financial control.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering/Business or a related analytical field and 5+ years in energy markets or LI-related operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering/Business or related technical analytical.
5+ years experience in energy market or ASU/HYCO operational experience / LI business experience.
Demonstration of determination and perseverance to challenges.
Keen interest to invent and optimize complex sourcing schemes and analytical skillsets.
Project leadership to lead digital projects from idea generation to realization.
Keen to learn from the market as Energy Transition provides new ideas.
Adaptability to manage and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Performance & Risk Management: monitor energy risk and performance with end-to-end index balances.
Middle & Back-Office Operations: execute invoice checks and index administration.
Financial & Cost Accounting: compute energy costs and support monthly reporting and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Analytics: enable data-driven value from operational changes.
Digitalization & Sustainability: drive digital tools adoption and emissions reporting.
