Job summary

TimesConsult is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - Electronic Components to drive growth in Malaysia by identifying opportunities and building strong OEM/ODM/EMS relationships. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and delivering tailored technical solutions and product recommendations.

You will manage sales activities, prepare quotations, and support contract discussions while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree and above in engineering, science, or relevant field.
• Minimum 2-6 years of experience in electronic component sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build relationships with OEM/ODM/EMS.
• Understand customer needs and provide technical solutions and product recommendations.
• Manage sales activities, develop opportunities, and support revenue growth.
• Prepare quotations, assist with price discussions, and support contract coordination.
• Provide technical support before and after sales, including handling customer issues and delivery matters.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
