Qualifications

• Six to eight years of relevant experience in electronics component quality.
• Experience working with suppliers to drive quality improvements via defect monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ability to review component specifications for alternate parts to reduce cost and alleviate shortages.

Responsibilities

• Document and improve quality processes and supplier controls.
• Provide advanced technical expertise for material problems impacting production or customers.
• Lead supplier assessments, risk analyses, and supplier selection recommendations.
• Visit suppliers to evaluate process controls and reliability programs.
• Analyze data and use SPC methods to drive root cause analysis and improvements.
• Coordinate with commodity management to develop the preferred supplier list.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
