Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in marine systems.
• Proficiency in electrical design tools and understanding of marine electrical systems and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for installation, integration and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design: define electrical system requirements and develop schematics for marine propulsion and control.
• Commissioning and Integration: oversee installation, integration, and testing during vessel construction or retrofitting.
• System Optimization and Performance: analyze propulsion/control system performance and identify improvements.
• Documentation: prepare manuals, maintenance guides, commissioning reports and drawings.
• Regulatory Compliance and Safety: ensure compliance with IMO, ABS, DNV and related certifications.
