Job summary

Linde Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our industrial operations in Pasir Gudang. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable plant performance, and contribute to upgrades and maintenance programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in industrial settings, strong problem-solving, and clear collaboration with cross-functional teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical maintenance and/or design in industrial or process plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaboration with teams, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
• Support engineering and installation activities, contributing to efficient system performance and upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, applying strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Drive maintenance excellence through preventive and predictive practices to optimise equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with teams and contractors to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality solutions.
• Champion safety and risk management in all electrical operations and activities.
