Job summary

Linde Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical plant equipment across sites in the Central Region. You will lead reliability improvement initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive maintenance excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or plant engineering in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and CI methods.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and lead improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and lead root cause investigations.
• Drive reliability improvements to enhance safety, performance, and availability.
• Analyse downtime events and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Plan and support major maintenance activities, turnarounds, and emergency repairs.
• Conduct reliability and risk assessments and implement equipment improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and external suppliers.
