Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA) seeks a qualified Competent Electrical Engineer (JK4 or above) to oversee the electrical systems at our Bahau plant in Negeri Sembilan. You will ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and safety requirements while leading maintenance of the 132kV Grid Intake Substation and WHRS.

Competenze

• A valid certificate of Competent Electrical Engineer (JK4 or above).
• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Power/Electrical).
• A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant working experience in the operation and maintenance of HV, MV and LV electrical system.
• A Registered Professional Engineer (Power) with BEM is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Serve as the plant's registered Competent Electrical Engineer (JK4 or above), ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements
• Oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of the plant's electrical systems, including the 132kV Grid Intake Substation and Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS)
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability, electrical performance, and energy efficiency
• Supervise high-voltage operations, Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and other electrical safety practices
• Lead technical investigations, fault analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant operations
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the electrical team while supporting asset lifecycle management, CAPEX projects, statutory inspections, plant shutdowns, and major maintenance activities
