Job summary

CAMEL POWER (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional for our Kuantan plant. You will manage the plant's electrical system, including inspection, repair, and upgrades of utilities equipment such as electric substations and switchgear.

The role requires troubleshooting and modifying electrical equipment, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• BO Chargeman Certificate holders with HV/LV experience preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience handling low and high voltage electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLC and mechanical work.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for plant electrical system operations.
• Perform inspection, repair, maintenance and upgrading of utilities equipment including substations.
• Troubleshoot and modify electrical equipment breakdowns and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Plan, operate and ensure safety for HV transformer, HV switchgear, switch room and power generators.
• Carry out routine inspection and housekeeping on A/C, AHU, PABX, generator, fire systems, light fittings, and electrical switchboards.
• Take records and analyze power consumption.
• Establish and maintain an efficient inventory system for electrical parts.
