Job summary

Pacific Quartz (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. The role covers design, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems including high-voltage up to 33kV, ensuring regulatory and technical standards are met.

You will read schematics, monitor power quality, liaise with contractors and authorities, and contribute to safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Certified Chargeman category B0 for systems up to 33kV.
• Full working rights for Malaysia; able to communicate in English or Chinese.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting and performance of electrical systems up to 33kV.
• Read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Investigate power quality issues and manage maximum demand to improve efficiency and cost.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian electrical standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and communications related to electrical systems and projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and authorities on electrical matters.
• Support maintenance planning and execution of electrical equipment across the facility.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve engineering issues and support production goals.
